School Council
Our democratically elected School Council are a group of enthusiastic children, committed to making a difference to our school. They are the voice of every child, who listen and act upon concerns, worries and ideas to make our school the best place it can be for everyone. Two children are chosen from each class and as a collective, meet fortnightly to discuss issues brought to them by their classmates. They have made a huge impact across the school, taking responsibility for organising and running initiatives such as hot chocolate Fridays, fundraising to provide the school with an AED, establishing a quiet/sensory area planted with fragrant herbs to name just a few. They embrace the opportunity to take on this extra responsibility, giving up their own break and lunchtimes to make these fantastic achievements possible. In addition to school improvements, they also support the wider community, raising much needed funds for both local and international charities, they have chosen to support, throughout the year. We as a school are very proud of our School Council and all they do for us.
