Tuesday

English

You are going to write a report on one of the sports that takes place in the Olympics today, that also took place in the Ancient Olympics.
You will need to research that sport. Has it always been at the Olympics? Or has it been reintroduced?
You need to find out:
*How long has your sport been played at the Olympics for?
*What are the rules?
*Who plays the sport (are men and women separated? Are the rules the same for men and women?)?
*What is the vision of the Olympics?
*What are the values of the Olympics?

Cloud watching:

Go outside, or look out your window, watch the clouds as they pass. Is it a windy day? Are the clouds moving quickly? Or are they hardly moving at all?

What shapes can you see in the clouds? Draw them in your sketch book.

Ancient Greece

Create your own Greek monster.

Find the help sheet below with more information.

Wednesday

English

Planning a non-chronological report.
A non-chronological report describes something factual.
You need to have an opening paragraph, which will tell your reader what your report is going to be about. It should briefly outline what you want to write about.
Your next paragraphs will split up what you want to say in more detail. Think about how you might want to order your facts.
